DAY 1: CHIANG KHONG - Houeisay (L,D)
Welcome at the Immigration Border Check Point in Houeisay of Bokeo Province, transfer to guesthouse for check-in. Lunch at local restaurant.
Walk up to Wat Chom Khao Mount to see the view of town and the Mekong River. Free time. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Houeisay.
DAY 2: HOUEISAY - PAKBENG (B,L,D)
Breakfast at guesthouse, transfer to domestic quay for cruise down stream to Pakbeng by slow boat.
Admire the Mekong scenario. On the way, stop to visit the ethnic village. Lunch on boat. Upon arrival in Pakbeng, check-in to hotel. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Pakbeng.
DAY 3: PAKBENG - LUANG PRABANG (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel, continue the trip downstream to Luang Prabang. Lunch on boat.
Stop to visit Pak Ou Caves. Upon arrival in Luang Prabang, transfer to hotel for check-in. Free time till dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
DAY 4: LUANG PRABANG (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel, town sightseeing: visit Vat Visoun, Vat Aham, Vat Mai, Vat Sen, Vat Xieng Thong. Lunch at local restaurant.
In the afternoon, walk up the top of Phousi Mount for the view of town and the sunset on the Mekong River. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
DAY 5: LUANG PRABANG (B,L,D)
Early in the morning, transfer to the town to see the alms offering where more than two hundred Monks pass on the main street of Luang Prabang. Return to hotel for breakfast, then visit the local market and visit the Former Royal Palace.
Excursion by bus to Kwangsi waterfall. Visit, relax and swim at the waterfall for those who desire. Picnic lunch there. In the afternoon, return to town. Free time. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
DAY 6: LUANG PRABANG - VANG VIENG (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel, then departure by land to Vang Vieng. Lunch at local restaurant in Kasi.
Upon arrival in Vang Vieng, check-in to hotel. Boat trip on Nam Song River and visit Tham Chang Cave. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Vang Vieng.
DAY 7: VANG VIENG - VIENTIANE (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel, visit the local market, departure by bus to Vientiane. Upon arrival, check-in to hotel. Lunch at local restaurant.
Then town sightseeing : visit Ho Pra Keo, Wat Sisaket, Thatluang Stupa, and Patuxay. Shopping at the Talad Sao Market. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Vientiane.
DAY 8: VIENTIANE - PAKSE - WAT PHOU - KHONG ISLAND
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport for departure with the morning flight to Pakse of Champasack Province. Upon arrival, transfer to the quay for boat trip to Champasak, then proceed the trip by land to visit archaeological site Wat Phou. Lunch at local restaurant there.
Visit Wat Phou. Continue the excursion by land to Khong Island. Check-in to hotel or guesthouse. Free time. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Khong Island.
DAY 9: KHONG ISLAND
Breakfast at hotel, excursion by boat through the "Si Phanh Done" ("Four Thousand Islands") and by land to Khone Prapheng Waterfall (the biggest waterfall in South East Asia). Lunch at local restaurant during the excursion.
In the afternoon, return by land to the hotel. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Khong Island.
DAY 10: KHONG ISLAND - PHOU ASA - PAKSONG - TADLO
Breakfast at hotel, excursion by land to Tadlo. Arrival in Phou Asa, Elephant riding. Lunch at local restaurant.
In the afternoon, proceed the route to Tadlao. On the way, stop to visit Pha Souam Waterfall. Check-in hotel or guesthouse. Dinner at local restaurantvernig. Overnight in Tadlo area.
DAY 11: TADLO - PAKSE
Breakfast at hotel. Visit the surrounding, then excursion by land to Paksong. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue the route to Pakse.
On the way, visit Katou Village, visit Tad Yeuang (waterfall), visit Tad Fane (waterfall). Arrival in Pakse, check-in to hotel. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Pakse.
DAY 12: LEAVING PAKSE - LAOS
Breakfast at hotel, Free time till transfer to the airport or Vang Tao Border Check Point for leaving Laos.
