Sekong Province is located in the South-East of the country. Its capital is Sekong. Its aera is 7.665 Km2 and its population is 83.600 inhabitant with the density of 11 inhabitants/Km2.It is bordered by Vietnam to the East, Attapeu Province to the south, Salavanh Province to the North, and Champasak. It is made of 4 districts.
